Talwara.com was launched on Oct. 2008. Since then the site is regularly updated and refreshed. It contains information about Talwara and its surrounding natural charm.

We believe Talwara has tremendous scope for tourism and industry, however, it seems yet to be discovered from scratch. Way back during 1960's the town was developed by BCB as well planned Le Carbusier's magnificent architect. It had four sectors and a supplementary colony of workers at Sansarpur Terrace. Later on when the Pong Dam got completed, workers were served notices. Now, Sector No. 4 is converted into Rock Garden. According to BBMB, due to decreasing number of workers at the dam, there is no need of that big colony, hence now more that 678 well built quarters are 'abandoned' and left for waiting till the cows come home !
